Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Intensiv im yogaloft

This 40 hour teacher training course is designed as an intensive immersion into the teaching techniques for the primary series of ashtanga yoga. Participants will learn safe and effective hands-on adjustments through partner work in all of the asanas in the series–beginning with surya namaskar all the way through to savasana. A variety of modifications and variations will be offered as alternatives for every asana in the series. You will learn to talk each other through the entire primary series in 90 minutes, in a flowing and graceful manner, while providing safe & effective adjustments. The course will also include the philosophical aspects of yoga and will be interwoven into the context of the overall experience as questions arise throughout the week.

This is a deep immersion into the details underlying the practice and teaching of ashtanga yoga. One need not be a teacher (or even have the desire to teach), or be an advanced practitioner to attend, however, it is recommended to have a consistent personal practice of ashtanga yoga in order to gain the greatest benefits from the course. For sure, there is bound to be plenty of fun, joy & laughter with David while learning so much about the practice. You will learn more than you ever thought possible in a weeklong course and will have a great time in the process.

A certificate of participation will be given at the conclusion of the course for students who complete to entire 40 hour program.

David's approach to presenting ashtanga yoga is fueled by his strong personal practice. He is extremely adept at breaking down the intricacies of ashtanga and presenting it in a down to earth and comprehensive manner. David began practicing yoga in 1969 at the age of 13, and has been studying with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois since 1975.

Das Teacher Training wird schnell ausverkauft sein. Wir gehen nach dem Prinzip "first come first served" vor. Die Anmeldung kann bis zum 1. August 2008 annuliert werden. Die Teilnahmegebühr wird abzüglich Administrationskosten von 250 € rückerstattet. Rücktrittserklärungen nach dem 1. August 2008 sind ausgeschlossen, die Teilnahmegebühr kann nicht erstattet werden (ausnahmslos). Bei Nicht-Erscheinen oder Abbruch des Teacher Trainings haften wir nicht, die Rückerstattung der Teilnahmegebühr ist auch in diesen Fällen komplett ausgeschlossen.
