A yoga haven: Vinyasa yoga flow, chill-out yoga will be in English, led by Véronique Fleming, director of the yogaloft, known as ‘the barefoot temple’, an urban yoga oasis located in the heart of Cologne, Germany.

On the sly: There is an abundance of extra activities to dive into in between yoga sessions. There will be time for adventures to visit ancient medinas, local souks, and this time around, even horse back riding in the back country! Hangtime in hammocks, colorful spice markets, waterfalls, daytrip to the charming seaport town of Essaouira, shopping in Agadir, ocean swimming, experiencing traditional massage & hammams with luxurious healing Argan oil are all possible. Surfing, surf board rentals & lessons are available from the surf school daily. The possibilities of indulging in and around the environs of this magical land of the Orient are absolutely endless.....Come! Come! The wild adventure awaits you!

accommodations: The oceanfront residence is a small, private complex of beautiful apartments decorated in a modern, contemporary & Moroccan style, located 1km outside the village of Taghazout, facing the famous surf spot ‘Killer Point’. Our retreat overlooks some of the best surf Morocco has to offer. The world class surf spots of Mysteries and Anchor Point are almost paddling distance away. It is also an excellent beach for swimming.
Every apartment has two private balconies or patios which overlook the gardens and pool deck onto the waves. The apartments are over 80m², and come equipped with a large, comfortable living room that includes TV, DVD player and satellite system. The open kitchen comes with a fridge, and all cooking facilities. Sheets & towels are supplied.

healthy food: Meals are provided and served on the seaview terrace with view of the endless breaking waves. A great place to relax after a day of yoga & surf and watch the sunset. A local chef will prepare both western and Moroccan cuisine. Additionally, each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen for self catering should you wish to prepare any meals yourself.

what to bring: Yoga mats and props (belt, block, blanket, small meditation pillow) if you need them. Driving licence (for car rentals), and most importantly, an open mind with a dash of good ol' fashioned patience & a sense of humor- we'll be on 'African time' after all!

passport info: Your passport must be valid for six months following the date of entry into Morocco.

Rates do not include airfare/transfers. We advise you to book your place early in order to get the best possible airfares. Direct charter flights to Agadir airport are available from most major European cities. If flying from Cologne choose Düsseldorf airport.

Tui Fly is offering flights from Düsseldorf to Agadir tuesdays (non-stop 4 hour flight) for approx. 280 € roundtrip. It is highly recommended to book your flights as soon as possible for best rates. The retreat place is only 45 minutes away from Agadir airport, and we can provide you with contacts to arrange easy taxi transfers to the villa for approx 20€ per person.

If you wish to extend your stay in Morocco, another possibility is to book your flight back from Casablanca and enjoy the desert, the Atlas mountains, or the undescribable cities of Marrakesh or Fés for another 2-4 days after the yoga retreat. Royal Air Maroc is also an excellent airline which flies to Casa & Agadir & inland Morocco.
