With an eclectic background spanning Ashtanga Vinyasa, Iyengar, Vinyasa Flow, Tantra, and Yoga Therapy, Mark offers a holistic, inclusive, and individualized approach to yoga. His passion for teaching is matched by his dedication to his own practice, making his guidance both deeply informed and personally transformative.

Join internationally renowned yoga teacher Mark Stephens at The Yogaloft Cologne for an engaging program of Open Classes and Teacher Intensives, designed for teachers, teacher trainers, yoga therapists, and dedicated students of all levels.
Drawing from ancient wisdom, modern science, and over 35 years of continuous yoga experience, Mark emphasizes honoring the diverse conditions, intentions, and potentials of every student.
The Master Classes or also described as open classes offer an experiential window into his inclusive and accessible approach to asana, pranayama, and meditation.
The Teacher Intensives (Workshops) provide space for deeper study, where teachers and serious students can expand their knowledge, refine their skills, and cultivate greater clarity and confidence in practice and teaching.

A complete flowing practice touching every asana family (standing, core, arm support, backbends, twists, seated and supine forward bends and hip openers, inversions). This is an excellent way to get a sense of how Mark holds the space of a class and his methods of guiding students into listening to their inner teacher and deepening their personal practice.

Open to everyone. We’ll explore pranayama from its roots to traditional techniques informed by modern science and direct experience.

Depending on group interest, we may explore up to 15 traditional techniques.

Begins with a 30-minute lecture on what distinguishes yoga therapy from general practice and teaching. Then, through partner work, we’ll do yoga therapy intakes–comprehensive assessments that can be both fun and a little challenging. We’ll then explore how to create therapeutic practice plans tailored to individual needs.

Cancellation policy
1.Workshops, Trainings, and Special Events
(All In 5 days/ All In Masterclasses/ All In Workshops/ One Day)
- Registration takes place via the booking platform Bsports. A spot is only considered firmly reserved once payment has been received.
- For multi-day events such as the Mark Stephens week the following cancellation policy applies:
Cancellation is possible up to 6 weeks before the start of the event. In this case, a processing fee of €100 will be charged.
From 3 weeks prior to the start of the event, cancellations are no longer possible, regardless of the reason (e.g. illness or personal circumstances).
However, the participant may, after consultation, nominate a replacement person to take their place. We strongly recommend taking out seminar or travel cancellation insurance.
- The Yogaloft Cologne GmbH reserves the right to make minor adjustments to schedules and content for organizational reasons. The overall quality of the event remains unaffected.
- Should an event need to be cancelled by the studio (e.g. due to illness of the teacher or insufficient participant numbers), either a replacement date will be offered or the full participation fee will be refunded. Further claims – in particular for reimbursement of travel or accommodation costs – are excluded.
- For events with a fixed date (e.g. workshops, training modules), there is no statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with § 312g (2) No. 9 BGB, as these are leisure events scheduled for a specific date.
